This game was made for IM 110 and IM 120 at Bradley University.
Getaway Driver is an endless runner game, and is oriented vertically with a top down perspective. In it, the player drives a muscle car for a criminal organization. This particular heist has them stealing from a bank in a metropolitan city. The police are in hot pursuit after them bank is robbed, and the player’s objective is to escape them. As the player drives the getaway car through the city streets they must avoid obstacles such as traffic and police blockades. If the getaway car takes too much damage it breaks down and the police capture them. As the police chase the player though the city, the speed at which the car travels at increases.
